Bath time video

Hello everyone, coco puff here, sorry about the video glitch, I just realized it wasn't working, well here it is and I hope you enjoy it,

Bath time....

Its that time of the month when I have to take a bath, and as usual I'm always trying to come up with ways to avoid it. Yes its good to be clean, but I'm a dog, I'm going to roll in the mud and chase lizards in the sand afterwards anyway, sigh.... Humans and their cleanliness oh well:

It was a hot day where I live, and me and my family were doing what we do best on a hot day: sleeping :). I was relaxing and dreaming about steak and than wake up when I hear Al getting all my shampoo from the closet, dressed in swim shorts....oh boy I thought, I know where this is going......

Yawn... I'm sleepy, cant you give me a bath........ Next year?

He didn't like my proposal so I did what i did best.... hide under a couch, na na cant find me, oh no my eyes why are they glowing, rats!

once we were in the bathroom I put up a last stand, I thought maybe he wouldn't find me if I was behind the toilet.... But he managed to get me!

And so it began....

Here am I getting dry...

After it was all over I went to go Hide under the couch.... I wanted to be alone for a while....even if it meant not having my collar on.... :p

However everyone is happy when I'm all clean....

Well that was My doggy adventure today, afterwards I went to the park and played with my friend Kikoo, unfortunately my human brother didn't have his camera >:(...

Well I hope you enjoyed my day folks, have a nice day.

My Story....

Hello world of the internet and welcome to my world of doggy adventures, where I will be sharing with you my life and daily adventures with my family. First about myself, I'm a cute dauchsund spaniel mix, with some beagle heritage,  I don't remember much about my early childhood and it remains a mystery to me,all  I do remember is that I was born with a litter of puppies with a very nurturing mother and a tough dauchsund father. I spent most of my days wrestling and playing in the backyard with my brother and sister. All of my siblings eventually found homes one after the other, but no one wanted me :(.  My old family had to move far away, but they couldn't take me with them because they didn't have room for me. So they took me to this place called a shelter, and my parents said good bye to me, than the shelter lady took me to this room full of other dogs, there barking was loud and scary, I was placed in my own little room/cell. All night I heard was the barking of the older dogs, I was really scared and sad I would never see my parents again and thought I would never get out of there :(. My days in the shelter were not that bad, the nice shelter people would give us food, they would take us outside to play, let me meet the other dogs,  I loved play time, where i could see the sun and run around on the grass. My neighbor in the other cell was a German shepherd, he already had a owner that worked at the shelter, and he always cheered me up and told me "don't worry kid, u wont stay here forever, all puppies get a new family". A family, that's all I wanted, to be loved, to play tug of war, to wrestle, to chew on stuff, but who would want me, since no one wanted me before. Than one day something happened, this nice lady and girl and little boy came to the shelter and were looking at all of the dogs, and they kept shaking there heads when they saw all the older dogs, and than the girl went to my cage and she had a big smile on her face and started pointing and the others came and saw me, and they all said "awwwwww". than they went outside.  The shelter man than took me out of my cell and than outside to a fenced in area where the girl, the little boy and the lady were, than he left me alone with them and left. I was very scared at first because I didn't know what they were going to do. So I started whining and ran around them in circles, than I just calmed down. The lady looked nice so I went and sat at her lap, and she started stroking me on the sides, I felt really relaxed. The girl came and sat me on her lap and played with me, than the little boy gave me some treats and played tug of war with me with a red toy. It was the most fun I'v had since i was dropped off at the shelter, than the shelter man came and took me and the family followed him and he put me back in my cage and they left. I went to sleep for I don't know, two hours. Than the Girl came back with four different people, two tall young men, and an older girl and a man. the same thing happened like before, I played with them, ate treats out of there hands and ran around playing chase. It was all over than I was taken back to my cell and  I went to sleep. The next day, my neighbor woke me up and said "Conratz kid, your going home."  "what are you talking about?" I asked. "Oh you silly little goose, that family that came yesterday to play with you wants to take you home with them to be in their pack." I Got really excited and started howling with joy and all the other dogs did too. Than a shelter lady took me out of my cell. "Good luck kid, Live in happiness" said the german shepherd. the shelter lady than took me and put me in this little crate, i started getting scared, than i could hear the lady from yesterday talking to the shelter lady, i was really scared because the crate was so small and tight, than the crate moved up, and side ways, the lady had the crate and went outside and than stopped in front of a blue thing(Van). Ok ok i know what your thinking, i was three months back than ok, I wasnt crate trained yet, but anyways after the crate and the car ride home, i was out and i ran in this huge back yeard, HUGE,  with a tall fence, trees, it was a dog's dream. Than the girl and little boy came and they petted me, gave me belly rubs, and we played outside all day, than i had to take my nap, than the others came, and now I'm living with the best family a dog could ever have :) and now for my life the last five months :)
Heres a picture of me on my first day Home, I was so little compared to now, as you can see i was tired after playing so much
Nap time in my crate, after playing so much, this picture makes me want to z z z z z.....

Here is me being carried for the first time by my best friend Omar :) I miss you so much, come back soon so we can play in the park ;)

this is a photo of me at four months, after a nice  hour walk and meeting other doggies I was tired and had a nice cold bowl of water.

TUG OF WAR!!!!!!!!!

Oh this is your bed? my bad......

JJ was doing an art project, and she happened to have blue paint... I really wanted to touch it, and so I did, and than decided to play Blues clues with Omar.......Mommy didn't like that too much...luckily it was all removed before it could dry....ha ha

I just love this bed...... do i really have to get off?

Puppy pictures!!!

Me waking up from my nap :)

Al carrying me for the first time....he didn't know what he was doing at the time.....

After a loooooong walk, tug of war, learning new tricks, we were both tired, and nothing is more comfortable than sleeping on a human without them knowing....

When your finally potty trained, and 7 months old, who needs a crate when you get to have a HUGE fluffy pillow....

TOYZ!!!! my collection has been growing as you can see....

here's me all grown up, at eight months, well that's all folks, join me for more doggie adventures and moments, and remember life may start harsh at first, but if there is anything I'v learned, is that life is a road and a wonderful  journey, its not about the destination, and it has been a wonderful journey for me so far, and will continue to be :)
